Getting to Kuranda

Getting to Cairns

Kuranda Rainforest Village is out of range. There is extremely limited public transport options (bus/taxi/rideshare) departing Kuranda. Avoid getting caught out/stranded and get INSTANT CONFIRMATION when you book with us. Explore the Village eateries, boutique stores & markets, wildlife & nature attractions, knowing that your transport is covered. Sit back and relax while we ride down the winding mountain range, underneath the tree canopies of the famous World Heritage listed Rainforest.

Private Transfers MUST be booked in at least 24 hours in advance.

Shuttle Bus tickets can be pre-purchased online or at the Kuranda Visitor Information Centre on the day of travel - subject to availability.

Shuttle Bus Pickups are from the village Visitor Information Centre or Rainforestation Nature Park. Departing at 4:00pm Wednesday-Sundays only.

Choose a drop off location, during your booking to SkyRail Smithfield, Yorkeys Knob Cruise Terminal, Cairns Airport, Cairns Night Markets, Cairns Cruise Terminal, or to your Hotel (city only).

Additional shuttle bus services on Cruise Ship days (if available) are to specifically accommodate cruising guests, and are planned carefully to align with the ships schedule. On these days, cruising guests have priority, to ensure efficient boarding time. Cruise guests are encouraged to book well in advance.
